We actually got the budget together to put out the BABY YOU’RE GONNA
DIE TONIGHT IN MY GARAGE comp, which is, may I say it, utterly
great! The COFFIN LIDS did the exclusive
title track which is worth the bucks alone. Many changes in the 2003 lineup,
updated band list to be online this week.
also: the new GARAGE catalogue, updated and
swankified, should be accessible RIGHT NOW! Lots of new stuff
you DO NEED… also, thanks for all the silly comments
on the little section called “Lee’s Rants”…

after 4 years, a nice idea..), plus a distro

also to be revived: the SURF COMP. But, it’ll appear

Sorry for the lack of updates.. so many people asking what the FUCK is up with
the DEVIL DOGS TRIBUTE. It’s as good as finished. Have a look at the December
update (which I
never uploaded by accident… I’m really stupid.) and you’ll know what was up.
Everything is restored, except for some shit that wasn’t important anyway.
Let’s say: the whole artwork was SWANKIFIED on the way. New tentative
release date: march 15th.

DELETED all the booklet and cover files.. no fucking comment about this shit.. I’ll

REALLY GO TO THE PRESSING PLANT!

released before november. still waiting for two tracks. ummmm…

folks. it’s official now (who cares?).. a spliffy new comp to be issued by head
dip records next spring/ early summer. a comp full of GARAGE mayhem, including
raunchy garage punk, surf, raw rock’n roll and sixties influenced frat dance.

*** TAKE ME DRUNK I’M HOME comp: is definitely CANCELLED
now. same is likely for BAMA LAMA LOO. reason is simply I moved away from
“pop-punk” sounds. which does not mean I ain’t diggin that shit any more. but

***At last some great news: the devil dogs tribute will (hopefully) be
out AUTUMN 2003. due to our 2003 budget, we GOTTA keep all other projects
delayed. keep track on the devil dogs record via the yahoo club i established.
sadly, both JUNK and RADIO BEAT records won't be on the ticket, since they both
imploded. that also means NO vinyl. sorry. volume two of the tribute will
follow assumingly autumn 2004.
***our website will move to http://www.headdiprecords.com pretty soon. yea,
you're all right... we're starting wearing ties and reptile leather boots.

the confusion) and we got A LOT OF new NEATO stuff in the catalogue, which is
95% online at this moment. I t some cool shit stuff not listed yet, like e.g.

pussycats LP,... just heard the turks' song for the devil dogs tribute...

audio snippets there! then, no news regarding surf and 50s/60s comp, same for
the philiacs record... the stuff is delayed, it's not dead! anyway, I'll give
you a new news lowdown soon.

As you see, a SPLIFFY NEW website... hope you like my efforts. there was
no specific reason to do a new& I dug the old one, but since some people
complained bout the incompatibility of the site with their screen resolution...
hell, why not just doing an one-size-fits-it-all site, instead of telling
everybody to change their resolution. holy shit... ENOUGH computer talking.
you're waiting for the news lowdown... sad but true, HeadDip Records is broke
since autumn 2002, moreover it looks like we lost BOTH alliance partners for
the DEVIL DOGS TRIBUTE cds (yeh... i DID say cds, cuz it'll be TWO FUCKING
VOLUMES! can you believe that??)... so, the future looks rather... er ... not
so good.
But... this is not saying we're outta here... HELL NO! we're still going
strong, just that RELAXED pace you've gotten used to at HeadDip... All the
scheduled releases will see the light of day. this is HEADDIP GOES SURF, a
split srcd with THE PHILIACS and JAKE AND THE STIFFS, then, the 50s/60s cover
srcd tentatively called BAMA LAMA LOO, and of course the DEVIL DOGS TRIBUTE
cds, which will be the first silver cds we'll put out...
